Having won numerous medals for Italy in world and European Kayak championships, Angelo Della Noce has always demonstrated a will to succeed. With the help of the ACP, that determination is being invested in a promising career in the retail sports industry. Now in his early thirties, Angelo is working in Italy for Briko, an Italian company that produces and sells sporting and outdoor gear.
Angelo said: "The ACP identified an opportunity where an athlete’s attitude and self-discipline would be valued and appreciated in the workplace. I love the job and the people I am working with, and obtaining the assignment was a smooth transition thanks to the ACP." In fact, Angelo has had a long and fruitful relationship with Adecco and the ACP – when training in Australia in 2003, they helped Angelo find a position at the largest outdoor and sporting equipment retailer in Australia (Anaconda), an experience which stood him in good stead for his current role with Briko. And Angelo's career was not the only thing to get off the ground in Australia. It’s where he met his wife!
