Janine Bischoff is the Athlete Career Programme Manager in Germany. She joined Adecco Germany in April 2005 as a Project Manager in Marketing, with one of her primary objectives being to establish the programme in Germany.
Shortly after joining Adecco, Janine Bischoff quickly set about creating, building and managing the Athlete Career Programme in Germany. To ensure success, she created a network consisting of sports governing bodies, athletes, the business world and Adecco in Germany. In January 2006, the National Olympic Committee of Germany signed an agreement with Adecco to officially launch the programme in support of the Olympic and Paralympic Athletes transition from sport into the labour market. In 2008, Janine Bischoff led the efforts to renew this agreement. Since she launched the programme in 2006, more than 400 athletes have received advice and support on questions concerning entry to the labour market.
In January 2013, she took over the position of the Managing Director of the Adecco Foundation in Germany.
Before joining Adecco, Janine served as Project Assistant at the agency of the National Olympic Committee of Germany, 'Deutsche Sport Marketing', where she was responsible for security management and the accreditation process at the German House – the German NOC's official meeting point for all German athletes, officials, press etc. – during the 2004 Olympics in Athens.
Janine holds a diploma in Sports Management from the German Sports University in Cologne. She is married and has two children.
