As part of the Global IOC Athlete Career Programme in cooperation with the Adecco Group, the Uruguayan National Olympic Committee and Adecco Uruguay signed their local cooperation agreement to the deliver the ACP to their national elite athletes as of 2017.
The two Olympic athletes Gabriel Sagastume and Monica del Real have been selected by the IOC as Outreach trainers to provide the IOC Athlete Career Programme in cooperation with The Adecco Group in Latin America.

The 7th IOC Athlete Career Programme (ACP) Forum, hosted by the Peruvian National Olympic Committee (NOC) in Lima, came to a close last week. With over 80 participants from 37 countries, the three-day Forum celebrated 10 years of the ACP, highlighting its growing success and outlining future goals. It also saw the official launch of online education service the International Olympic Committee's Athlete Learning Gateway, which is aimed at elite athletes and their coaches.
