Sung Min Ryu

Sung Min Ryu planned at the Olympic Games in Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Beijing 2008 and London 2012.

Career highlights include winning the olympic gold medal in 2004 and Sung is also a member of the Athletes' Commission of the South Korean National Olympic Committee.

After competing at four Olympics and winning a gold medal, Sung wanted to support others in reaching their goals, lead constructive and successful lives on and off the field of play and to get young people to participate more actively in their communities.

With three Olympic Games in a row being held in Asia, Sung is using his experience and knowledge of the culture to improve the athlete experience. He is also involved in the development of the IOC’s education platform.
